Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)

This beautiful, bizarre movie was shot at a luxury ski resort in Eastern Europe. The masterpiece is full of bright characters, beautiful landscapes, and unique humor. Although such a hotel never existed, the film will be loved by those missing Germany and its medieval streets.

The Trip to Italy (2014)

This movie with Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan is a chance to travel to the beautiful Italian countryside.

The characters will take you on a trip from Piedmont and Rome to Amalfi, Naples, and the Capri island.

The magnificent landscape is the main reason to watch this movie. Besides, you can easily repeat that trip – write down the route!

Easy Rider (1969)

This low-budget movie takes you to a real American road trip with Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper.

Two main heroes go on a journey from California to New Orleans, while we can enjoy the landscape changing from beautiful Southwest deserts to bright green Louisiana’s coast.

The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003)

In this film, a regular American teenager named Lizzie (played by Hilary Duff) goes on a school trip to Rome and gets mistakenly taken as a famous Italian pop-star.

The movie then turns to an excellent tour around Rome’s best sites, such as the Trevi Fountain, and ends with a performance at the Colosseum, it’s full of charm, sweet atmosphere, and beautiful Italy.

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2011)

This movie gives such excellent motivation to travel, reminding you that it is not that difficult to add some colors to your life. Played by amazing Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, and Maggie Smith, a group of British retirees moves to a retirement home in Rajasthan, India.

Although the place turned out to be not what they expected, there is a place for adventure, peaceful landscapes, and even romance.

Roman Holiday (1953)

Bittersweet and charming at the same time, this story is a fairy tale, with magnificent Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck playing the leading roles. The movie’s charm is in its light humor, fantastic surroundings of Rome and its ancient streets, and brilliant acting. Even though there is not much of a happy ending there, the film certainly leaves a pleasant aftertaste and a willingness to see the famous Spanish Steps!
